With the support of Wichita State University’s Innovation campus, the Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub: Kansas gets to witness a lot of innovative projects come to life for our mission partners.
Recently, the U.S. Army announced the installation of a blade inspection system in partnership with the National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR). VISION, is an automated technology system designed for UH-60 blade inspections, with the added ability to inspect multiple types of blades.
Being able to partner with entities such as NIAR allows us to showcase real life mission needs being addressed and accelerated it into production and practice.
